| Office Administration Professional Bits In Glass Inc. is an Edmonton based IT Solutions company and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to take charge of our team's administrative support requirements. If you have exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic and a penchant for detail, this opportunity is for you. In this position, you will provide administrative expertise and assistant to Bits In Glass Inc. and our subsidiary company Go Big Event Inc. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining a file and record management system, financial reporting and management (AR/AP), budget management, HR and pay and benefits coordination, materials and equipment procurement and management, responding to staff inquiries. Superior organizational skills, excellent communication, tact and diplomacy, as well as the ability to establish positive working relationships are a must. An excellent understanding of financial policies, budget forecasting and records management is essential. You are also required to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel. Experience with Accpac is desirable. This position will be working with our part-time (2 days/week) Office Manager and will share in the following duties: - Bank Reconciliation - Journal entry postings - Process government and tax filings - Bill payments - Process payroll - Bookkeeping - Cash flow management - Collections - Filing - Order office supplies Qualifications: - Must have solid accounting training/background - 5+ years accounting related experience - Proficiency in MS Excel and Word - Solid working knowledge of Accpac is highly desirable - Experience with government and tax filings - Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Demonstrated organization skills - Small to medium sized company ( 10 - 50 employees) experience desirable - Recruitment - Performance management - Timesheets - Absentee reports - Benefits managements - Special Projects as required Only applicants being considered will be contacted.
