| Program Director THE BOYLE MCCAULEY HEALTH CENTRE PATHWAYS EDMONTON An Innovative New Program to Address Homelessness PROGRAM DIRECTOR This exciting new program operated by the Boyle McCauley Health Centre is based on a recognized service delivery model for ending homelessness by providing “Housing First” coupled with harm reduction services provided by an interdisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment team (ACT). We are currently searching for a well-qualified and self-motivated person to assume the role of Program Director. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Director to oversee the development and implementation of the program to ensure it is sufficiently flexible and dynamic to meet the needs of those individuals who have been chronically homeless and have health issues that are continually being addressed at emergency and psychiatric units of the hospitals. Qualifications: • Masters degree in a clinical specialty (e.g. social work, psychology, nursing) • Experience with urban homeless populations with serious mental illness, substance addiction and complex health conditions. Experience and knowledge of mental health recovery models and practice. • Experience with program development, implementation and evaluation. • Experience working in an interdisciplinary team environment. • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and writing skills. • Patience, creativity, flexibility, compassion and sensitivity to persons who have been chronically homeless and struggling with multiple barriers.
