Revenue Development Coordinator

The Revenue Development Coordinator – Alberta is responsible for the ongoing development of special events within the province. Responsibilities include event planning, execution and evaluation. Working closely with the Regional Manager, Prairies & NWT and the Community Development Manager; the Revenue Development Coordinator supports the planning and implementation of Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s regional fundraising initiatives for the purpose of growing the financial and human resources to support the mission of the organization. Based in Edmonton, this position supports the continuous development of community based networks and partnerships throughout the province of Alberta.

The successful candidate will possess a relevant post-secondary degree or diploma; 2 - 3 years experience in fund development, event planning and volunteer development. This position requires a dynamic individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid budgeting and financial management skills, and strong public speaking skills.
