| Dispatcher Our west end client who specializes in the transportation of fuel is searching for a well organized Dispatcher who is technically savvy and has great administrative skills. The duties for this position include but are not limited to: • Dispatching fuel delivery orders; • Monitoring fuel tank levels; • Organizing the previous day’s orders and make corrections if need be; • Providing status reports to the Operations Manager on all projects and onsite related jobs; • Customer relationship management; • Ensuring that all daily paperwork is completed accurately and thoroughly by supervisors, drivers, and all other field staff. This also includes ensuring logbooks are completed in compliance with Alberta Transportation regulations. Ensuring paperwork is transported from sites to head office for billing purposes; • Assisting in the mobilization and demobilization of equipment; • Coordinating inventory in the trucks; • Troubleshooting technical difficulties; • Providing after-hours, on-call support including weekends; • Assisting Transport and Maintenance Managers, as needed. The ideal candidate will have: • Minimum 2–3 years experience in petroleum distribution. • Strong knowledge and experience in oilfield transportation and logistics. • Exceptional communication and organizational skills: • A strong team player. • Ability to prioritize. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change. • A High School diploma. The following would be great assets: • Valid Driver’s License, Class 1. • CSTS &/or CPPI training. • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate and WHIMIS (to be arranged in-house). • Experience with fuel truck remote sensors technology is considered a strong asset.
