Our client, a local home builder focusing on single family dwellings, is seeking a Drafter for their Edmonton Office.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of residential drafting experience and have the ability to work as a team member.

The required skills for this position include:
A demonstrated ability to produce residential drawings to deadlines and make changes as and when needed;
A thorough understanding of the building construction process;
The ability to think structurally;
The ability to follow details through to completion;
The ability to liaise with external contractors to ensure that timeframes are met.

The ideal candidate must have:
Proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Office and AutoCad;
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
Strong coordination skills and organizational skills;
The ability to set and manage priorities to meet all deadlines.
