Job Summary This position will service a portfolio of commercial property & casualty accounts requiring demonstrated underwriting abilities and a commitment to customer service excellence. Participation in the production and profit goals in order to meet company objectives. Note: Position may involve supporting the new business quote desk. Job Responsibilities Assess price and negotiate new and existing business of low to medium complexity. Review, underwrite and enter Commercial Lines business, with a focus on new business production; thi may include renewals and endorsements. Quote and authorize business within established corporate guidelines and individual authority levels. Respond to inquiries from Brokers regarding modification to policies in a prompt and efficient manner. Develop and maintain excellent Broker relationships to achieve production goals and to develop mutually profitable relationships. Experience Required 3 to 5 years Commercial Property & Casualty underwriting experience. Good problem solving, negotiation, decision making and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. Education Required Community College, university or equivalent; obtained or working toward CIP, FCIP Please submit salary expecations with application | |
